Egnyte SCIM 2.0 Application integration configured and Provisioning API enabled in Okta org. When a user is reassigned to the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 application in Okta, provisioning fails with the error:

Automatic provisioning of user <username> to app Egnyte SCIM 2.0 failed: User account is inactive

• Egnyte SCIM 2.0
• Provisioning
• Error

The Deactivate Users feature is not enabled in Provisioning settings in Applications > Applications > Egnyte SCIM 2.0 > Provisioning > To App. This feature must be enabled for Okta to activate the user on the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 side.

NOTE: If this feature is not desired to be enabled, activate the user from the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 side or delete it before assigning the user to the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 application in Okta.

If the "Deactivate Users" feature is not desired to be enabled:

• If this feature is not desired to be enabled, activate the user from the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 side or delete it before assigning the user to the Egnyte SCIM 2.0 application in Okta.

To enable the "Deactivate Users" feature:

1. Go to Okta Admin Console and navigate to Applications > Applications > Egnyte SCIM 2.0 > Provisioning > To App.

2. Click Edit. Select the Provisioning Feature Deactivate Users if required to enable it. Click the Save button.

3. Attempt the failed tasks again. Navigate to Dashboard > Tasks. Any failed assignments should appear under Tasks.

4. After identifying the failed task for the user to be retried, click Retry Selected.
