Overview

This article details whether multiple devices can be enrolled in Okta Verify and if the Add Account from Another Device function can be disabled.

Solution

The user can add multiple devices (phones) to Okta Verify by going to the user's Settings tab in their Okta Dashboard and clicking Set Up Another under Okta Verify in Security Methods. The user will then be prompted to enroll another device with Okta Verify by scanning the QR code. Note that the Push notification will be pushed to all registered devices.

Please note that, at the moment, there is no way to limit the end-users to use their Okta Verify account only on one device or only on a managed device. Therefore, the function to Add Account from Another Device, present in the screenshot below, cannot be disabled.
