Okta Verify is a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) application that lets users verify their identity when they sign in to Okta and ensures that the person who tries to log in is the right one.
This article discusses how many devices one user can enroll in Okta Verify.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Okta Verify
- Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
- Okta Classic Engine
In Okta Identity Engine (OIE), up to 10 devices can be enrolled in Okta Verify for a single user account, whereas in Okta Classic, only one device can be enrolled.
NOTE: Users cannot add up to 10 devices from the Okta End-User Dashboard. However, users can add up to 10 devices from Okta Verify applications when enrolling them directly.
This capability allows a user to use multiple devices, ensuring they can still access their Okta account even if the primary device is stolen or damaged.
