How to View Logs for SMS and Voice Calls

Overview

The goal of this document is to clarify how to filter logs in order to view data for SMS and Voice Calls.

Applies To

  • Okta Identity Engine

Solution

The following Event Types can be used to filter the data in the System Log for SMS or Voice Calls:

  • system.sms.receive_status
  • system.sms.send_account_unlock_message
  • system.sms.send_factor_verify_message
  • system.sms.send_okta_push_verify_message
  • system.sms.send_password_reset_message
  • system.sms.send_phone_verification_message
  • system.voice.send_call
  • system.voice.send_mfa_challenge_call
  • system.voice.send_password_reset_call
  • system.voice.send_phone_verification_call
