Administration
Okta Identity Engine
Overview

The following reconfiguration has been identified as part of the preparation needed to perform the upgrade to Okta Identity Engine (OIE). Note that additional Okta features may require reconfiguration or be disabled in order to complete the upgrade. This article provides a solution for an upgrade blocker that occurs when upgrading to Okta Identity Engine (OIE). During the upgrade process, a blocker related to Microsoft Office 365 Azure Active Directory (AAD) Join Client Filters may be identified, which prevents the upgrade from proceeding.

Applies To
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Windows Autopilot Enrollment Policy
Cause

The Windows Autopilot Enrollment Policy feature is not functional in Okta Classic Engine and is incompatible with the Okta Identity Engine (OIE) upgrade process. A new version of this feature is replaced in OIE and must be enabled after the upgrade is complete.

Solution
  1. Navigate to the Admin Console.
  2. Go to Settings > Features.

  3. Locate the Windows Autopilot Enrollment Policy feature and disable it.
