This article discusses how to configure RADIUS applications to automatically issue push notifications to Okta Verify users. Autopush for RADIUS is compatible with:

• Okta VPN integrations supported by RADIUS
• Okta's Generic RADIUS application

• RADIUS Agent
• Okta Verify

1. From the Okta Admin Console, navigate to Applications > Applications > select the RADIUS Application.

2. From the RADIUS Applications page, select the Sign On tab.

3. From the SignOn tab, scroll down to Advanced RADIUS Settings and click the Edit button.

4. Now that the setting can be edited, scroll down further to the Authentication settings and check the checkboxes for both:

• Accept password and security token in the same login request

NOTE: This setting is required to support automatic push. It permits access with alternative MFA if a user is unable to acknowledge the push.

• Permit Automatic Push for Okta Verify Enrolled Users

5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the settings to save the configuration.

For users with Okta Verify enrolled, they will now automatically be prompted to approve a Push Notification within their enrolled Okta Verify device.
