This article describes how to configure DMARC for a Custom Email Address. 

• Customers who have successfully configured a custom email address.
• Customers who would like to configure DMARC for their custom email domain.
• Okta Classic Engine

To configure, please follow the steps below: 

1. Sign in to the DNS provider and create a new TXT DNS entry.

2. Use the following settings to configure the DNS entry:

• Name: _dmarc.customdomainname.example.com (the custom domain is what was configured for the customer email domain)  

• Type: TXT - Text
• TTL (Seconds): 300 seconds
• Value: "v=DMARC1;p=reject;pct=100;rua=mailto:dmarc@example.com"
