Hello,
Yesterday, I created a new account, but it suddenly became inaccessible. When I tried to log in, I received the message: "Unable to sign in. Contact support assistance." I am not sure why this happened, but I am now able to log in and continue working.

This could indicate an issue with the Okta policy's you have on your org. The error is a generic one and could indicate other problems. I would recommend to review the System logs and see what could have caused the error, from there you will be able to see if you were hitting a miss-configured policy or something else is at fault.
