User Import Issue in Integration Account for SCIM App

I have created a SCIM app in Okta and configured the SCIM endpoint as well. When i import the users and confirm the assignments, it shows this error.

/help/servlet/rtaImage?refid=0EMKZ000000dqsB

Ideally this should not happen as my SCIM endpoint sends back the userName. Also this exact same configuration worked in Okta's trial account. Is this a bug in Integrator account? Am i missing anything here?

This is the error i am seeing in the System Logs:

  • Hi @JayK.75647 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

The UI seems to indicate that the username value is being pulled, but I would also review the application attribute mapping just to make sure correctly configured. Okta Admin Dashboard > Directory > Profile Editor > appName > Mappings > appName to Okta tab.

That being said, custom SCIM implementations are more appropriate for our dedicated Okta Developer Forum.

My advice would be to reach out via devforum.okta.com to take advantage of their expertise.

While we'll do our best to answer all of your questions here, this medium is more inclined towards Okta core products and features (non-custom/developer work).

    Regards.

I would check to see if the username is following the correct format set up in your Profile Editor (Directory - Profile Editor - Okta User (default) and click on the "i" next to "Username". Check to see if it requires certain characters or a certain format like email.
