LeeY.02048 (Customer) asked a question.

After a user ID change, is there a quicker way to reset their userid in all applications

We do get a few requests of name changes. This will trigger a user login and e-mail update. Is there a better way to reset a single user's application for login reset? Clicking on each application just to hit retry is tedious. I wasn't able to find anything in the api developer.

@LeeY.02048 (Customer) -- Can you provide more detail on what you mean by a "user ID change" and the process you are currently performing. Screenshots would also be helpful. So would a mockup of the current process.

Okta's User ID's are immutable. So the question is a bit confusing.

Not the OKTA user ID. The user's email has been updated. All the application the user is assigned needs to have the app username updated to the new e-mail address or upn or whatever the mapping we have choose.

Is there a way to trigger this reset (see attached screenshot) for all applications via the api or another way?
