RobC.41876 (Customer) asked a question.
I setup an Okta Preview account years ago to do testing with our product. I need to make some changes in the admin portion of the account but when I try to access it, I get the following error:
Sign In Denied
You do not have permission to access
your account at this time. If you're
wondering why this is happening, please
contact your administrator.
[Return to sign in page]
I've tried resetting my password and using the newly created password but that didn't work.
How can I regain access to my admin page? There is no administrator. I am the one who created this setup.
Thanks,
-Rob

You will need to call Okta Support or open a support ticket. It is potentially that the policy is enforcing a factor that you are not enrolled in, or simply that the preview tenant has expired if it's been a few years.
Hi @RobC.41876 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
If you have a paid production/developer tenant, please leverage it to open a case and work with the Support team to regain access.
Depending how long ago you've last use the preview tenant, the Mandatory Admin MFA policies might have been applied to it. If it wasn't properly set up beforehand, it possible that it causing a conflict.
If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
