Okta biometric prompt on Windows requires selecting Windows Hello rather than defaulting to it. On MacOS, TouchID is the default. Can Windows Hello do the same?
On MacOS Chrome or Brave, after providing credentials for Okta login, TouchID prompts a fingerprint scan, which then authenticates when provided.

On Windows, the same process creates a pop-up that asks the user to select either Windows Hello or something else.

Selecting Window Hello then starts the biometric prompt.

Is there a way to mimic the Mac user experience on Windows? With a prompt for biometrics rather than a menu preceding it?

Currently, the biometric flow cannot be configured to match.
If you have a paid account, you can suggest it on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted on and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and implemented.
