Why is OKTA still in business?

This is getting ridiculous. We lost access to our account. I am a super-admin, but I can no longer login and it tells me to "talk to my Administrator". If I try to submit a support ticket, it tells me the same thing. I cannot because I am not super admin. It looks like our account may have been wiped out without a warning and we are stuck. Tried calling the phone, but it is a Sales Line where nobody picks up the phone. Literally waited for 2 hours. I was able to login to this "support" community and send a message, but there is no response since 12/6. Is anybody running this ship? I am going to be telling every customer we have to avoid OKTA like a plague.

  • Hi @00uitfvsdwHrNpWFJ351.5566126048904038E12 (Customer) @User16421579839497401870 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community and apologies for the delay in response!

Please note that free developer/trial accounts are only recoverable via self-service provided that you have configured the appropriate policies and backup accounts.

If you have a paid production/developer account with us, please call the support line (Customer Support Account ID number required) so our Okta Support colleagues can review the matter.

If for whatever reason the call option is not available for you, please contact your Okta Account Executive or Customer Success Manager, and they will be able to engage the Support team on your behalf. If your Okta Account Executive or Customer Success Manager are not available, please email us at community@okta.com from an address associated with the Admin account and provide Okta ORG URL, from there our team will try to put you in touch with the Support team.

If no paid developer or production account is available,  the only option left is to sign up for a new free trial or developer account and leverage those for testing.

In the meantime, we've forwarded your feedback regarding the Sales team engagement to the internal team for review.

    Regards.
