AWS VPC Endpoints for Okta

A question was asked a number of years ago relating to whether or not AWS VPC Endpoints exist to connect to Okta via AWS PrivateLink: https://support.okta.com/help/s/question/0D51Y0000AFtSReSQN/aws-connection-outbound-to-okta-vpc-endpoint-available

I could really use this feature, so could you please let me know whether it exists yet (and if not, whether it is likely to in future)?

The two big benefits I see here are improved security (connections traverse the AWS backbone and do not need to hit the internet), and easier operational management as customers would not need to worry about allowing huge numbers of Okta-owned IP ranges (as detailed here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/okta-ip-ranges/ip_ranges.json).

Thank you!

Hi @y6hrj (y6hrj) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

This is not currently support and I'm not seeing anything about it on the Okta Roadmap.

You can suggest it as a Feature Enhancement on the Okta Community page by going to the Community Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and it being implemented.

    More details here.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
