LucasD.34646 (Customer) asked a question.

Create a group rule only with user with the status active

Hello everyone.

This is my first post here, so I apologize if I didn't do it right.

I am trying to create a group rule for users inside some groups with the status active and pending action. However, when I try to do it using OEL, I get an error:

We found some errors. Please review the form and make corrections.

Error in evaluating expression.

and this this is the OEL:

(isMemberOfAnyGroup("group1", "group2", "group3")) && (user.getInternalProperty("status")=="Active")

Would someone have an idea of how to do it, or is it even possible?

Thanks a lot.

Lucas de Souza.

    Hello @LucasD.34646 (Customer) , thank you for contacting Okta Community.

    That setup is not currently supported. You can read more about it in the Group Rule Limitations and Restrictions.

    If you have a paid account, you can suggest a new feature on the Okta Community page by going to the Community→ Ideas tab. Features suggested in our community are reviewed and can be voted on and commented on by other members. High popularity will increase the likelihood of it being picked up by the Product Team and implemented.

    You can find more details here. You can occasionally visit the Roadmap to see upcoming features.
