Uninstalling Okta Verify on Windows - Expected Behavior

Hi,

I was unable to find a clear answer to this in documentation, hoping someone can help.

If a user has a Windows device with Okta Verify installed and enrolled with Fast Pass as an authenticator, would uninstalling Okta Verify remove the device as an authenticator for that user? and would they be required to authenticate to Okta to remove the authenticator?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @MikeK.21715 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!

If a user removes his authenticator, the MFA needs to be removed by the user or by an administrator.

Removing the authenticator from a device will not remove the enrolment from the user's profile.
