v0m4e (v0m4e) asked a question.

Jumpcloud sso integration with okta to allow user of jumpcloud to login to okta without providing username and passoword in okta once redirected to okta application of mine

I have a case in which i want to integrate jumpcloud sso in okta and my customers requriement is that

When the user logs in to Jumpcloud with username and password and see all the applications and when you redirect to okta it should directly log the user to okta rather than asking for username and password

  • Hi @v0m4e (v0m4e) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

In a typically SAML SSO implementation, OKTA is the Identity Provider (IDP) and users need to authenticate with Okta then gain access to all other integrated applications.

That being said, Okta does support external IDPs, and you could look into setting up Jumpcloud as the IDP for Okta instead, but if this is a pre-existing integration, you will need to evaluate potential impact to all other apps integrated with Okta.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
