We have setup an integration with Workday where Workday is the master. We pass email from Okta into WD, but we would also like to pass username into Workday once someone changes from a pre-hire to an employee in WD. This is because we use a temporary username during pre-hire and then our IT department set the actual username later.
Has anyone seen this done before or know of a way we could achieve this?

Well, writing anything back into WD no longer makes WD the master. We had this same challenge and we took an somewhat unconventional approach to resolve. Let me know if you would like those details.

I think you could do that using the attribute and profile mastering options that Okta brings.
