SethS.02917 (Customer) asked a question.

Chromebook Login

We have configured SAML login for Chromebooks, and it’s working. However, I’m not satisfied with the current process: new users first need to click on ‘Add Person,’ which redirects them to our custom Okta login page. After logging in, each new user must set up a 'Local Password.' Then, all users are displayed when the Chromebook starts up.

I’m looking for a way to streamline this process so that our custom Okta login page appears directly when the Chromebook is booted up, allowing users to log in and start using the device immediately. Is this possible?

Hello @SethS.02917 (Customer) Thank you for posting on our Community page!

The fact that all usernames appear at the start up of the Chromebook seems to be more of a Chrome book feature rather then an Okta issue. For this I would recommend to reach out to Google and see if there is anything you can do to bypass that screen.

Please also review their doc to see if there is anything else that can be done.
