I have configured Okta introspection endpoint in my ecommerce solution to generate access tokens. The implementation works successfully. However, the introspection endpoint takes an average of 250ms to respond. I'm wondering if this is because I did it on a trial account? Are there any performance limitations in place on the trial account? Will using a non-trial account give me better response times?

There is no difference on this matter between Trial and Production, both type of environments would work under same parameters. The delayed response could indicate a number of things, I would recommend to do a trace and see where the delay happens.
