Okta Create and Update to Ultipro/UKG

Hello, I'm experiencing an issue where I can't set Okta to UKG sync to create and update. The option seems to be greyed out and I'm unsure how to move forward. I've just picked this system up and I'm learning on the fly. Does anyone have any suggestions or a definitive answer if create and update is available from Okta to UKG? I would like certain fields to sync some fields from AD to Okta and then to UKG. Things like telephone and the like which I believe I've setup right, but existing users won't update. Thank you in advance for anyone replying and giving suggestions.

    Hi @ShawnC.97156 (Customer)​ , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community! 

     

    As far as I can see the UKG integration is mainly meant as a Profile Source.  

    The supported features doc mentions imports, profile sourcing and profile update pushes, so creation is out of the questions, but you should still be able to send new info upstream.  

    I remember that while in the case of Profile Source apps it's recommended to have a one-way stream of info and Okta is limited by default like that, there is a on-demand feature that allows two-way streaming called ALLOW_BOTH_PROFILE_MASTERING_AND_PUSH.  

    If you have an account with us, you can open a case and ask my colleagues from Support to enable it for your tenant, but please be warned that unless carefully configured, you run the risk of unwanted pushes to other apps, as this feature is global not app-specific.
