I've written down some questions regarding the status on Okta when an employee takes a leave of absence.
- Currently, we store CSV files from the Human Resources Information System to the Okta Provisioning Agent to synchronize users with Okta. When a user is set to a leave of absence status in the Human Resources Information System, we want to reflect this in Okta. Should we choose "Suspend" or "Deactivated" in Okta for this purpose?
- If we decide to use "Suspend," is there another method to set this status apart from using Workflows?
Please let me know if you can provide any information.

Suspend seems the better option as it would not remove the user from groups and apps assignments the way Deactivation would.
Regarding telling Suspended users apart in Workflows, you might check out the Okta action card "List Users With Search" as it provides a Status input dropdown you can specifically select SUSPENDED.
