Hi there! I recently updated my fingerprints on my Pixel 8 Pro and now I continually get notifications from the Android Okta Verify app that say --
title: Sync your account biometric settings
description: Okta Verify detected changes to your device's biometric settings. Tap to learn more.
If I click on the notification, I'm taking to an "Account details" screen with nothing actionable on it. There's some "Ways to sign-in" (all with green checkmarks), and two other sections "Security" (screen lock confirmation) and "Manage Account" (rename, add to another device, remove).
The Security section seems to be the most relevant, but the only item under that section is screen lock confirmation, and it's already enabled. The help text for it is "During verification, Okta Verify will confirm your device biometrics, PIN, pattern, or password." And it's enabled.
So what am I supposed to do? There's also nothing in the Okta web UI under settings or preferences. Is the only option to disable these constant notifications to uninstall and reinstall, effectively re-enrolling? Why do I keep getting an unactionable notification?

Hi @2683d (2683d) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
If you made changed to the biometrics of your device while it was previously enrolled with Okta Verify, the app would need to be resynced.
If the UI did not offer an explicit option to "sync biometrics" , try toggling the "Biometric confirmation" option off/on. This should allow for the current biometrics to be resynced with the Okta Verify side.
If that fails, please reach out to your company's or service provider's IT support or Help Desk so they can assist you with the re-enrollment of the app.
If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
Hope my answer helps!
