Permissions required to see security "tab" in admin center

I am trying to configure Okta to use Azure AD as an identity provider using SAML. Documentation says to go to SecurityIdentity Providers, but I cannot find it anywhere in the admin console

Updating this response for ease of access and reference:

    Overview

The Identity Providers menu under the Security tab may be missing in the Okta Admin Console when configuring an integration using Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) for Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). This issue occurs because the administrator lacks the required permissions. To resolve this, ensure the account has at least Organizational Administrator permissions.

    Applies To

    • Okta Identity Engine (OIE)
    • Okta Classic Engine
    • Identity Providers
    • Administrator Roles

    Cause

The administrator account attempting to access the Identity Providers menu does not have the necessary permissions.

    Solution

How is the missing Identity Providers menu resolved?

Verify the current role assignments and update the administrator permissions to restore access to the menu.

    1. Verify that the administrator account has at least Organizational Administrator permissions.
    2. Assign the Super Administrator role to the account for optimal configuration capabilities.
