Integration/provisioning okta to NetSuite

Hello,

We are trying to setup provisioning for Okta->NetSuite. When we try to add a user we get an error stating that default currency is needed. I have tried to find a way to add that field to the profile but no luck.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

@User15976987613926449178 (Customer)  -- Based on the direction Okta to NetSuite it sounds like the "default currency" property is something netsuite needs. When you look at the list of available attributes on the NetSuite side (ones that can be mapped to) are you seeing this property?

Also is the default one even currently defined? Apparently this is the process to set/change the default currency (I am assuming at a global level)

To change your initial base currency:

      1. Go to Setup > Company > Company Information. In NetSuite OneWorld, go to Setup > Company > Subsidiaries, and click Edit for the subsidiary whose base currency you want to change. ...
      2. In the Currency field, select the currency you want to set as your base currency. ...
      3. Click Save.

Essentially, to solve this one you likely will need to have NetSuite define what they need to prevent this error. Assuming it is a specific property, which could technically be named something non-obvious (like it might not be defaultCurrency) then it should just be a matter of defining a property in Okta that has a value that meets the requirements for this property and mapping it. You would likely also need to touch easy user and update their Okta property to contain a valid value.

  • I realize that it is looking for a default currency. I have looked through the available attributes and there is nothing from Okta or NetSuite that mentions anything regarding currency or any permutation of it.

  • Well, that would be great if I was doing a CSV import, but we are trying to provision directly from Okta.

I checked the NetSuite setup and currency is set to default to US Dollar.
