Enabling Desktop SSO feature for a developer account

Hi team I searched all over on the community and google but with no luck. Long story short I screwed up my longstanding oktapreview.com account and am locked out completely. I can't seem to figure out how it's possible to sign up for new oktapreview.com tenants so I just signed up for a new developer "free" tenant. It's missing features like Desktop SSO and IWA capabilities which is what I need to be testing for our product's integration with Okta for customers. I can't even a support case I keep getting errors saying I don't have permission. Any thoughts on how I can request feature enablement for my tenant dev-56096780?

  • I have a similar problem in that I also need a feature enabled for my dev-tenant. We used to be able to register support cases but I also get the permission denied and the old email is not used anymore... I hope it is a bug because it worked before they remade their login to this place.

Sorry for not being any help, just responding so Okta can see that it is a big problem and not just you. 🙂

  • hey @User16878748391795927222 (Customer) thanks so much for your responses-- I totally missed that post you just linked and it's a bummer to hear. It makes sense from a business perspective why Okta would change that model but sucks for us. I'll probably just open up an internal ticket with our IT team that owns the corp Okta so they can open up a support case on my test tenant's behalf for adding these features. I'm just so used to all these features being enabled for the okta preview tenant I had for many many years. Cheers!
