we are having trouble using datagrip to setup a tunnel connection to our internal AWS RDS databases. Our previous solution was easier as it pushed users to bastion hosts with ssh keys.
What I have done so far was install the advanced server access daemon on a bastion host that of course has a public IP address. This bastion is on the same vpc as the internal RDS so we know the connection will work fine. We are able to sft ssh to this bastion host without any issues. We cant figure out how to tunnel into rds through this connection using datagrip. Normal ssh tunnel commands work fine. Has anyone dealt with this in the past. Even Mysql Workbench is not working and i guess its facing the same issues as datagrip
