"Keep me signed in" is not working, asking for login again after closing nd Re-opening the browser
I am trying to enable "Keep me signed in" feature and for this I performed the below steps.
- Enabled the "Show option for 'Keep me signed in'" in the "Organization Security"
- Enabled the "Persist session cookies across browser sessions" option on the Security > Global Session Policy (Default Policy)
After performing the above steps I followed the below steps to test it.
- Open a Chrome browser and clear all cache
- Hit the Application URL
- Redirected to the Okta login page, Enter Username and checked the checkbox of "Keep me signed in" then enter password
- Successfully logged in
- Close browser without logoff
- Again I opened the browser and hit the Application URL and again it redirected me to the Okta login page, as per my understanding Okta should not ask again for login it should redirect to the application without asking for login.
@dye4h (dye4h) what's the application policy for this application. is it ask pasword verification every time for the first mfa?
Yes, we have authentication policy with Password + Any one factor.
so what's the frequent policy for password and number one factor.
Below are the settings that we have configured in the authentication policy.
Review if the Browser has that option like clean cache/temp file every time browser is closed.
@User16375390230851437351 (Management &) There are no such settings in my browser, I verified that the second time when I tried to login after setting "Keep me signed in" check, it asked me to enter username and password and after that, it is bypassing the MFA (2nd factor Okta Verify).
