aji4t (aji4t) asked a question.
I had to restore my iPhone from an iCloud backup recently. That is always fun when using Okta. However, I noticed the Apple Watch app was no longer there. I looked in the Watch app. It is not installed or even available to install. I deleted the Okta app and reinstalled it, but still nothing. Has the Watch app been discontinued? If not, is there something I can do to try and reinstall it?

Hi @aji4t (aji4t) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
In the June 19, 2023 Okta Verify release on iOS, the watchOS companion app was discontinued. This decision is based on the incompatibility of watchOS with Okta Verify security features as well as very low usage rates.
Users will still have the ability to respond to push notifications with a “yes” or “no” from their watch, as this functionality does not require a companion app. Only number challenges and one-time code flows are affected.
There was no action required from users. The watch app was automatically uninstalled upon upgrading to Okta Verify 8.2.0 or later version on your phone.
If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
Hope my answer helps!
