azjpc (azjpc) asked a question.
I am trying to understand the data that is recorded and sent when a user requests a push from say a laptop, and then the device receiving the push notification (mobile). I understand that browser will be using geolocation as well as IP address, but what about the mobile device? Is it collecting the same data and sending it back? Do both devices need to be in the same zone?

Thank you, but this did not answer my question regarding geolocation and ip. If I'm clicking "this is me" on the okta verify app, does the organization/ company that requires this verification have the ability to view and access the location on my mobile device?
Yes, the IP and location based on the IP is indeed tracked in the logs.
Thank you. So only location from the IP (say wifi) is tracked and not the geolocation obtained from cell signals, etc.?
Hey Paul, do you have any knowledge regarding my follow up question? Would appreciate the insights. Thank you,
