Just realized that okta Guids follow a naming convention and wanted to share
I was today years old when I realized that okta's guids have a pattern:
00g = group
00u = user
0oa = app
nzo = network zone
guo = device
+10 points to okta for that.

Hi @JasonA.21559 (Customer) , Thank you for posting this on the Okta Community!
While it's information I was aware of, I never though of posting it somewhere as it never came up that often in daily operations. It did however prove useful in providing some context when sifting through large amounts of logs. Reminded me of that scene in "The Matrix" - "You get used to it, I don't even see the code, All I see is blond, brunette, redhead" - in my case it was "groups, users, apps" 😅
Please let us know how they provide value to your use cases. I'm curious to see how anyone else uses this.
Regards.

Hmmmm.
I can't off the top of my head think of a real use case other than like you said, whilst sifting through the system logs and/or api calls - i'll recognize what an object is by its Guid.
@JasonA.21559 (Customer) You're so observant, great job!
