We currently have an IDP that allows our users to sign on using their google credentials. We recently launched subscription application where users can register to get certain content that we have behind a paywall. One of the big points of friction we have experienced is that users would like to be able to Sign Up using their Google account. I have seen this on other sites and am trying to configure our Okta instance to allow for this (currently testing out with our staging instance at https://platform-staging.mcng.io).
We have updated the Google IDP to enable JIT Provisioning. We are then hoping to add a button that points towards that IDP (with an href of https://platform-staging.mcng.io/sso/idps/0oaklxht4mLipQZQx696). This works to create a new user, but after the creation of the user, they are not properly authenticated and must click our "Login" button, at which point they do not have to enter their credentials again and are able to access the app.
I am wondering if there is a way to provide a redirect url to the url above so that Okta can redirect the user back to the correct step in the registration flow AND also be authenticated properly. Hoping for any suggestions on how to achieve this user experience.
Thanks in advance.
