How to minimize app policy changes post migration

My preview tenant was recently upgraded to OIE. After the migration, the app Sign On Policies had to be manually reconfigured to work the same way they did before the migration. Can I do anything to make sure this won't happen in production?

Hi @LeonG.53667 (Phillips 66) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

Unfortunately, there is no "one size fits all" solution for this as no organization is the same. As such, the needs and configurations differ.

I recommend reaching out to your Okta Account Executive or Customer Success Manager to discuss options and perhaps finding resources to help review your environment to make the transition as smooth as possible.

In the meantime, you can also review our documentation on the subject in case you haven't already during your preview migration.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
