Password Policy for "Reset Password" only for a specific Zone not working in OIE

HI All,

My env is OKTA classic engine upgraded to OIE recently.

I'm trying to configure a password policy for below conditions:

  • Password change (From account settings) Within LAN: Password can be changed without second factor.
  • Password change: Outside LAN: Password can be changed with Second factor.
  • Forgot Password: With in LAN: Password reset With Second Factor:
  • Forgot Password: outside LAN: Not allowed to reset.

But the problem is i'm not able to select only "password reset", is this expected behaviour?

    Hi ,

    Could you please enable the "Password change(from account settings)" option . After you will be able to enable the " Password Reset" option .

    Yes, if I select "Password change(from account settings)" then it enables the " Password Reset" option but as per the requirement we only want to enable reset but not password change. Is there a way to select only Password Reset?
