ScaleFT.exe version not changing when upgrading to latest version

Hi, my company has a few users who will be using the Advanced Server Access client (ScaleFT) and after installing a version it was flagged in our vulnerability scans for CVE-2022-24295. We have tried installing the latest version of the Client available but no matter what the ScaleFT.exe file versions remains at 1.0.0.0.

 

Anyone else ever see the issue? Is there a way to resolve?

 

Latest version is being downloaded from: https://dist.scaleft.com/repos/windows/stable/amd64/windows-client/

    It looks like you are checking from the file properties which is not reflecting the correct version. The ideal way to check the version at user end is to run sft -version from cmd.

  • I am having the same issue with our Qualys Vulnerability Scanner finding this issue. Qualys would not know how to run this sft -version and cannot update logic based on every different vendors methods for determining current versions. @User16594883467582706479 (Customer Support Online Experience)​ Can we get support to have the version actually updated properly within the properties of the windows executable?
