Org2Org app failed to import partial users from sink to hub post user app assignment

Hi team, I've a situation where the Org2Org app did not import all the users from sink to hub. I did the following:

  1. I assigned all the users to the Org2Org app in the sink org using the "Everyone" Group. There were total 14000 users.
  2. The number of people in the directory in hub was increasing slowly.
  3. After some time, I saw it imported only 12,900 users. And failed to import the full directory of people from sink to hub.

What could be the possible reasons for this? Should I try to import again?

Hi Abishek. It's like we're becoming pen friends on here. Check the logs check the logs check the logs. The failures to provision will be recorded in the Hub and the spoke. As it's been successful for some users, I would expect data issues. Missing mandatory information defined in the Hub Okta profile.

But don't guess. Check the logs

Okay :D I just noticed it did not migrate "deactivated" users which is good, but all my suspended users are now in Active state. I guess I can take care of it using Okta Users API and revert the status

That's your org2org setting. You will have selected 'Active with/without password'

It doesn't. It does what it says on the tin 🙂 Sets the account to active with password ( or a made up password )
