NoamT.47092 (Customer) asked a question.
I'm currently using Auth0 to manage public onboarding and authentication to my application, and I'm now in the process of onboarding an enterprise customer that uses Okta. The customer requires that I support Okta SSO with SCIM provisioning.
I'm trying to understand whether I should go through the route of publishing an application to the OIN, or use an Auth0 Enterprise Connection, and what are the different use cases for either?
From what I understand, with an application on the OIN I can explicitly support SSO & SCIM provisioning, while the Auth0 Enterprise Connection only mentions SSO.

Hi @NoamT.47092 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
That is correct. With Okta you should be able to implement self-service registration, SSO and SCIM Provisioning.
Here are a few resources to get started:
https://support.okta.com/help/s/article/okta-application-oin?language=en_US
https://help.okta.com/oie/en-us/Content/Topics/identity-engine/policies/about-ssr.htm
For the Auth0 side of things, you will need to check with our colleagues, here:
https://community.auth0.com/
That being said, we'll leave this Question open for the Community in case someone here had a similar implementation and can provide additional insight.
If my answers helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
Hope my answer helps!
