Hi all,
I'm suddenly getting a lot of "User Import" emails. I've never received them before. How do I turn it off?

To adjust the email notifications, please follow the steps below:

I've got these checked under System notifications:
Disconnects and reconnects: On-prem provisioning and on-prem MFA agents
Disconnects and reconnects: IWA Agent
Disconnects and reconnects: AD Agent
Disconnects and reconnects: LDAP Agent
User reporting of suspicious activity
These are unchecked:
User lockouts
User deprovisions
App user import status
Which one is the "User import" email?
Please check here: In order for the newly imported users from AD to receive the "Welcome to Okta" email, the checkbox located in your Okta Admin Console -> Directory -> Directory Integrations -> AD -> Settings -> "Don't send new user activation emails for this domain" has to be unchecked.
Is this unchecked/checked? Is that the type of email you are seeing? It is possible that sometimes admins are listed there depending on the environment.
To answer your question above, I would expect that you would not receive emails as "App user import status" is unchecked.

The notifications in Security > Administrators for Super Admin is unchecked for "App user import status".
The email I'm getting is "User import from Active Directory instance complete. Okta has scanned 0 users and 1 groups from Active Directory instance".

All the above answers are valid but if they did not apply, you might also want to consider the possibility that you are part of a distro list that is tied to an admin account that might be receiving those notifications.
Also consider other test/dev orgs you might be part of, if any.

Agree with @Mihai N. (Okta, Inc.) , but I also get plenty of notifications from my Preview environment as well so please do validate that too. Great point.
Hi Mihai. The emails are from our main Okta account, not Preview. I'm not on any distribution list. I've never received this particular email before and nothing has changed in the environment.
Can you check if anyone in your team has this enabled?
