Hello!
We have a relatively new environment and are working to configure the auto provision of okta users from our UKG/Ultipro HR System. We have a work flow setup to create a unique username/e-mail address upon import.
The issue we are experiencing is when we attempt to confirm the users imported from UKG, because there's no e-mail address yet we receive an error indicating that a new user (in Okta) cannot be created because the e-mail field is required. The appropriate e-mail, generated by the work flow displays on the import screen on the UKG side but the Okta e-mail field (for the to be created account) is blank. I want okta to provision the user with the e-mail value that is displayed on the UKG side.
Thanks for any help!
Jason

So this is a custom workflow to connect to Ultipro. It sounds like you've wrapped it with the new Custom Connector function to allow you to see the standard Okta interface ?
First place I'd look is mappings. Have you mapped the attribute name to the Okta user id and email address ?
We have provisioning configured to automatically approve and create "new" users on the import. However, when that is supposed to happen we are met with an "e-mail address is required" error because there's not yet a value for the e-mail address field in OKTA as it tries to create the user.
We have mapped the username and e-mail addresses attributes to okta.
