Big-IP APM Policy configured with Okta Radius Results in Unusual Sign-in

We have an F5 APM Access policy set to use Okta Radius for authentication. Some time in the last few months this has started showing as an Unusual Sign-in to Okta Verify. It is not unusual, the users are in the same location, same source IP, but daily or multiple times daily this will always show as unusual.

Should this be configured differently?

Why would a Radius auth config appear unusual through Okta verify?

  • Hi @KirkF.85422 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

I would depend on wether this is affecting all users or just a specific sub-group, but on the end-user side I would check if they are using the same browser, not clearing cookies and so on... on the Admin side, I would check if there have been any changes to policies or behavior detection rules.

If my answers helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
