BarkleyR.87062 (Customer) asked a question.

Golang okta 2fa verification using webauthn device.

I am working on adding support to a golang cli tool that allows the user to use their registered Yubikey(webauthn) device as a 2fa method for verification. I am attempting to work on using this method to gain a signed assertion response from the webauthn api but with no luck. The okta documentation shows an example of a CryptoUtil.js script which is not helpfull for me using golang. I was wanting to know if anyone had any good methods of gaining the signed assertion in go lang or if it is possible to use a webauthn device to complete a U2F verification instead?

Hi @BarkleyR.87062 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

Unfortunately we don't have any resources for a Golang implementation beyond what might be publicly available.

The SP side seems to be offering some Okta related samples, but they don't seem to fit with your use case.

My advice would be to reach out to the dedicated Developer Forum devforum.okta.com to take advantage of their expertise.

While we'll do our best to answer all of your questions here, this medium is more inclined towards Okta core products and features.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
