Workflow to grab github user id and add it to an attribute for the Okta user

Hello all

I am trying to create a workflow to check github for usernames and match them to the corresponding user in Okta, we have an attribute we are going to use to store the github id. Im assuming it would need to match email in github to the okta user email and then add the github username for that user. I just need help on some of the cards i should be using for this, any tips or helpful videos anyone has used in the past for this would be appreciated, thank you all.

Hi @LosJ.77330 (Customer) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!

I ran this by our Workflows team and we don't have an available guide for this use case.

We recommend opening a case to work with one of our Support Engineers.

That being said, we'll leave this question open for Community input, in case someone went through this before.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.

    Hope my answer helps!
