78ezi (78ezi) asked a question.
Is it possible to have more than one user associated to a single client in ASA? I am setting up Okta ASA on our servers and IT admins have 2 accounts, a general user account and an account with admin privileges. Is it possible to have both windows accounts associated with the same client, with the account used to authenticate based on which is logged into ASA?
I have tried registering the client with both users separately but the second account gets an error that the client isnt associated with the user. In the "Clients" section of ASA I see 2 lines for the client, one for each account.
Thanks,
Ravi U Kothari

Hi @78ezi (78ezi) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
The way I'm seeing this, is that Provisioning of user accounts is done via SCIM and is 1-to-1. One Okta user assigned to one user in the downstream app, in this case ASA.

Hello,
Would it be possible to allow 1 client to be registered and used by 2 user accounts? would the 2 users need to switch profiles/logout of the PC first?
Thanks,
Ravi U Kothari
According to what information I was able to gather, you would need sft list-accounts and sft use <ID> to switch between profiles.
