I am reaching out to inquire about the process for migrating users and passwords from Okta to AWS Cognito. Specifically, I am wondering if it is possible to access each of the assigned passwords during the migration process.
Our team is currently exploring the possibility of transitioning from Okta to AWS Cognito, and we want to ensure a smooth migration process. As such, we would greatly appreciate any information or guidance you can provide on the steps involved and any potential challenges we may encounter.
If possible, we would also appreciate information on how to access each user's password during the migration process to ensure a seamless transition.

Hi @958l1 (958l1) , Thank you for reaching out to the Okta Community!
I wasn't able to locate any documented deployment guide for this type of migration and as far as I know the user passwords are not exposed for download/export in any way.
That being said, I did find mention of a provisioning connector provided by Aquera that might help you, although this most likely means a paid engagement. If interested, I recommend reaching out to your Okta Account Executive to discuss options.

If my answer helped, remember to mark it as best to increase its visibility for other members of the Okta Community who might have the same questions as you.
Hope my answer helps!

@958l1 (958l1) Does AWS Cognito support SCIM? Maybe SCIM can sync password. but every user should login okta after configure SCIM Sync.
