Understanding the workflow
Hello there,
I am new to Okta. I had to configure Okta in our lab and integrate same with vcloud director. Also, I was able to login to vcloud director after an authorization was done by Okta. But the problem that we are seeing is some our application (we integrated with cloud director for backup) was able to fetch the assets (VMs and vApps) from the VCD using api calls and sometimes not. The probability here is 2:3.
What I want to understand here is that, when we login to VCD or any application was integrated with Okta, the login will be authenticated by the same. Does that happen only once or every time when we attempt to access application's assets?

I've looked into this and it does not seem to be an out-of-the-box implementation currently.
Seemingly using OIDC, you can implement VCloud Director login with Okta, but beyond that initial authentication I expect assets access is handled on the Service Provider side.
