I'm the admin user for my account, when I log into Okta I get the "Unable to sign in" message. When I try the forgot password no reset email comes to my mailbox. The other normal users can login, just the admin user cannot. I cannot reach okta support as I need to log in as admin user for the same.
Please suggest how I can get the admin user id activated and be able to log into the okta instance.

If there is someone in the community who is an Okta admin and can raise a support ticket on my behalf then it should be a simple thing for Okta to activate the admin login for my account [dev-5052022]. Thanks in advance.

I had mentioned the Okta instance and my email id in the hope that someone can raise a okta ticket on my behalf if they are an Okta Admin (perhaps I can request you to do the same).
I was doing this as part of an Integration PoC so no one else in my company has this issue. And looking at various blogs/posts I think this has happened as my admin password had a time limit and expired since I did not change the same. I am located in India and hence an international call to Okta would be a bit expensive and the toll free numbers will not work. The forgot password option does not send emails as well. So kind of stuck.
While I can access the Okta instance as a user, it is of no use as the sample app I had set up was with the admin user. And without Admin user I cannot assign the app to the normal user or raise a ticket with Okta to activate the admin id or reset the password. This is a very real scenario and Okta should provide some self service option to resolve this issue.

Unfortunately I am not able to create a case on your behalf, but you could also try to reach out to your AE/CSM in order to have a ticket created with the Okta support team.
