G Suite Mobile Apps don't work

Hi,

I've activated Okta SAML login for my organisation but now the calendar and gmail applications on Android devices won't connect via okta.

When a user clicks "sync", they do their normal okta login and then the screen goes white and hangs there forever.

The only way they can access it at the moment from their mobile device is through the okta mobile browser app which is not a good solution.

Is there a fix for this that doesn't require the user to access email/calendar through browser applications?

Thanks for the question! When the screen goes white, does that lead to a successful sync? Do the logs indicate that the user successfully authenticated on Okta side? If so, it might be worth checking out what the Google logs indicate.

I would direct you to this link as well, I find it summarizes all the steps pretty well and calls out some known issues/limitations/considerations:

Guide to Google Apps Deployment and Okta

    Thanks!

  • The white screen doesn't go away. The only way to get rid of it is to close the application on the mobile and reopen it. When it does the okta account still hasn't synced (or added if it doesn't exist on the mobile already).

These are the logs on the Okta side when I tried it
