Okta embedded SSO - using custom username and password in Database

We have a custom Web Site that uses a database to authenticate users. We do not want to use Okta to store username or passwords or authenticate against that since our web site handles it. Does Okta have this capability to be able to configure the IdP with a 3rd party SP using embedded SSO?

Thank you for contacting Okta Support. My name is Cristian and I will be the Technical Support Engineer assisting you on this case.

The only option to do that is to set Okta as an Service Provider, through Identity Providers. Afterwards is necessary to setup your site as an IDP, to set an Routing Rule to autenthicate from the IDP you setup. Down below is the link to learn how to configure an Routing Rule.
