oyefh (oyefh) asked a question.

Set new User Type on JIT creation

I have a working Okta configuration where Okta is working as the service provider, and users are able to authenticate in through a 3rd-party IDP. JIT user creation is enabled and working. I'm able to successfully take SAML attributes and apply them to Okta user attributes, so far so good.

Additionally, I've created a separate "Okta Profile" exclusively for this setup, with a custom attribute

I'd like to apply one of these SAML attributes to the custom claim, again, not on the default user type/profile. Is it possible to have newly created users through JIT be created with a user type other than the default?
