Can not set up MFA via SMS, I received " you do not have access to the features you are requesting" when I set up security methods via "phone" function in my first log in.

    You might try the following steps, but I strongly suggest you contact your Administrator for further troubleshooting.

     

    Check your device to confirm that these conditions are met:

     

    A) The device time is set to Automatic.

    B) Your network connection is stable.

    C) Okta Verify notifications are turned on.

    D) The latest version of Okta Verify is installed on your device.

    E) To set up Okta Verify for the first time, go to your computer to obtain the QR code. Open the email with your organization's sign-in instructions and click the sign-in link. On the dashboard, click your name > Settings > Okta Verify Set up. The QR code is displayed on your computer. On your phone, open Okta Verify, click Add Account, and scan the QR code.

    F) If you have a new phone and can’t add your account back to Okta Verify, contact your Help Desk. Your account might have to be unlocked first.
